Getting to HKU
By Taxi
Reach the following addresses by taxi (approx. fare and time: HKD 360-380, 40 minutes):
- Main Campus Knowles Building

- Centennial Campus Car Park
(香港大學百周年校園停車場)
- Sassoon Road Campus William M. W. Mong Block (薄扶林沙宣道21號香港大學李嘉誠醫學院蒙民偉樓)
By Subway
Take the Airport Express line to Central, switching to the Island Line to HKU (approx. 55 minutes)
By Bus
Take bus A10 from Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) to Shek Tong Tsui Complex; Queen’s Road West (approx. 55 minutes). Walk 10 minutes to campus.
Visitors can reach campus by taking the MTR Island Line to HKU Station or Sai Ying Pun Station, as well as by bus.
- HKU Station: This is the most direct route. Take Exit A or C and follow the signs to campus.
- Sai Ying Pun Station: From Exit C, walk west along Bonham Road until you reach the University gates.
- From outside the MTR system: Bus routes 23, 40, 40M, and 103 stop near the East Gate of the campus.
- From Hung Hom Station: Transfer to the Island Line at Admiralty or take bus 103.
University premises are private property and the University has the legal right to stop vehicles from entering and to control the movement of vehicles within University Estates.
The maximum speed limit on University Estates is 15 km per hour. Pedestrians shall have the right of way on designated pedestrian crossings. All traffic signs and road markings must be observed.

Visiting Hours
Tourists visiting HKU’s campus between 8am and 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday, are required to make reservations prior to their intended visit through our online registration platform. Visits are divided into two-hour sessions with a limited number of slots available for each session.
