- What should parents do to help their child develop an interest in English?
- How can parents reinforce their child's interest of reading both inside and outside school?
- How can parents support their child's learning of English both inside and outside school?
- How does Web 2.0 change the way young people learn English?
- How do children learn English in the 21st century? What has changed in the past 2 decades?
Dr Angel Lin is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include socio-cultural theories of language communication and education, new media communication studies, youth cultural and feminist media studies, critical discourse analysis and language planning in postcolonial contexts. Dr Lin is the first Asia-based scholar elected as Member-at-Large of the Executive Committee of the influential American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL).
