This two-day World 100 Conference, organized by World 100 Reputation Network and the University of Hong Kong (HKU), on June 22-23 will address university reputation management from a variety of angles. The Honourable Michael Suen Ming-yeung, Secretary for Education, will deliver an opening speech at the conference.
As rankings have become part of the global ‘brand' of universities, plenary discussions including Rankings and Repute, How Can Rankings Be Improved, and Mapping and Measuring Reputation in Other Ways will be held to explore important issues on what difference rankings will make to a university, and how world ranked universities use their own ranked positions to boost reputations, etc.
Speakers from 12 world ranked universities from Europe, the US, China, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand; and representatives from major ranking institutions including Times Higher Education and Shanghai Jiao Tong University will address the audience and share their thinking on issues such as strategy, reputation, communications, branding and international relations.
