HKU 100 Kick-Off Ceremony

HKU 100 Kick-Off Ceremony, the inaugural activity of The University of Hong Kong centenary celebrations, will be held on January 9, 2011 (Sunday). Students, staff, alumni together with their families, residents from the neighbourhood and community centres will join the this fun-filled fiesta. It is expected the occasion will attract 4,000 participants. 

In the Ceremony, guests will officiate the opening of the HKU Centenary Celebrations. Besides, 2,000 students, staff and alumni from different faculties, halls and organisations will form 16 troupes and join the parade.

- The Honourable Jasper Tsang Yok-sing, President of the Legislative Council
- Mrs Margaret Leung, Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive, Hang Seng Bank
- Professor Lap-Chee Tsui, Vice-Chancellor
