HKU Inauguration Ceremony for New Students
New students at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) are to be officially welcomed to the University next Wednesday (September 12) at the Inauguration Ceremony. Students enrolled under the three-year curriculum will attend the morning session with Mrs Margaret Leung as the Guest of Honour, while those in the four-year curriculum will attend the afternoon session with Ms Mable Cheung as the Guest of Honour. Other HKU family members who will give welcoming address at the Ceremony are Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Albert Chau, Chairman of Convocation Mr. Choi Sau Yuk, Clerk of Convocation Mr John Wan and President of the Hong Kong University Students' Union Mr Dan Chan Koon-hong.
