HKU responds to the media

"An HKU spokesperson" responds to the media as below:

"Some people distributed and posted promotional materials on the HKU campus on Sunday evening and refused to disclose whether they are HKU students and their activities to campus security officers upon enquiry. Campus security officers then sought assistance from the police out of concerns about outsiders causing public order issues on campus. Police officers coming on site confirmed that the people involved were students, who then left on their own."
