In celebration of its 93rd anniversary, Ricci Hall at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) will host the premiere screening of "Tang Poems in 5 minutes" video series on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 3 pm at Rayson Huang Theatre.
Hosted by renowned Chinese language and literature scholar Professor Richard Ho Man-wui, "Tang Poems in 5 minutes" is a captivating video series featuring ten selected Tang poems across ten five-minute episodes. The series artfully combines historical knowledge and poetic rhythm, offering a unique appreciation of the beauty inherent in Tang poetry.
Professor Ho, a dedicated Riccian and HKU alumnus, graduated from the University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1969 and a Master of Philosophy in 1972.
The premiere will showcase highlights from "Tang Poem in 5 minutes”, accompanied by enchanting music performances that harmonize with the poetic ambiance, providing an unforgettable experience for all participants.
